Antillectual is a melodic yet political punkrock trio from the Nijmegen area in Holland playing punk rock in the vein of Propagandhi, Strike Anywhere, Rise Against and Hot Water Music. Start from Scratch features 12 songs raging from blasting hardcore to emo rock, accompanied by lyrics on politics, protest and personal perceptions. All of this supported by pounding drums and catchy guitar riffs. Guest vocals on "Start from Scratch" are done by Chris Hannah of Propagandhi (on Cut the ground from under our feet) and by Heleen Tichelaar of Midnight Menace (on Buyer's remorse and So much more).
