In 2012, Polen Records released Mucho Indios debut album, which features melodies from the Arhuaco, Nasa, Kankuama, Huitota and Wayu; when performed by urban musicians using indigenous instruments alongside modern musical instruments and techniques, they form the Paleofuturist Laboratory, which creates a new sound - a new art form born of a fresh cultural fusion that incorporates indigenous wisdom. These circular melodies induce a peaceful trance, reviving traditional melodies from Colombian indigenous music. Mucho Indio is an aesthetic project that seeks to reclaim sacred territory through art and collective consciousness.
