Only Truth Remains
In 2009 the bands frontman and composer Sauli Vuoti got bored with the electronic elements and the band recorded their sophomore album with the title "Only Truth Remains". Stylistically the album was more rock oriented with crispy guitars, a bit in the American tradition but tightly hanging onto the catchy Scandinavian elements. As Kinetik Controls urge has always been to develop, the band enlisted the legendary Hanoi Rocks vocalist Michael Monroe as a guest musician and a consult for the recordings. The album was mixed at Fried studios in Helsinki by Jyrki Tuovinen (Lordi) and the album was mastered by Svante Forsback (mmstein). "Only Truth Remains" was released in November 2010 and entered the official Finnish album chart on position 47 despite having to compete with several Christmas albums by the time of its release. The album also debuted on 1st position on Finnish music chart, which is compiled only from music and record store sales. The albums first single "In This Life" had earlier debuted on 4th position on the Finnish digital chart. The 2nd single "All Fours" was offered as a free download on Finlands largest TV-channel MTV3s website and received huge radio success. The band also filmed a music video of that particular song.
