EMEM emerged from the collaboration of three musicians seeking an essential and distinctive identitya sound where structural simplicity provides a canvas for research. The project moves between song-like structures and rhythmic patterns rooted in minimalism. Balancing written score and improvisation, EMEM speaks a highly emotive language, immersing the listener in a trio dynamic that dialogues with contemporary jazz through classical echoes and sonic experimentation.
