The Scortilla were formed in 1979, influenced by DEVO, punk and early wave bands.They only 'hit' was Fahrenheit 451, released on major label in 1984. Architects of live act with a great sound and visual impact have played around Italy to the hideouts of the underground music by establishing their headquarters at the Psycho Club of Genoa, the cradle of true art rock scene of that period. Intransigent about their artistic choices, the band closed their career after the only vinyl release. This anthology collects the recordings ofthe first period of the band, absolutely amazing material. Tracks like "Military rendez-vous", "Chanson de non amour", "Dresden", "Climax", "ADA", "Mirror Dance", "Inside" and also their 'hit Fahrenheit 451, published by the WEA in the summer of 1984, are on this vinyl. For all those that consider Gaznevada and italian 'new wave' at the same level of euro stuff, this is a record that consume up to pulverize! Absolute masterpiece!

The Shaking Sensations have expanded the classic rock constellation by addition of a second drummer, allowing the band to develop a unique approach to the rhythm section and a fresh and unconventional take on instrumental rock music. Start Stop Worrying showcases the courage of a young band to explore new approaches to music and sound, which clearly sets them apart from many of their peers within an over-saturated genre of music. On their second album, the band have gone for a more straight-forward approach to sound, as well as songwriting. Start Stop Worrying is more upbeat, more aggressive and somehow less naïve sounding than previous efforts, whilst maintaining its melancholic essence and emotional depth. Start Stop Worrying was recorded live in Copenhagen Studios, downtown Copenhagen, in late September 2012, then mixed and produced by Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Russian Circles, Caspian) in Seattle. Matt's personal appreciation and involvement with the tracks he was mixing has resulted in him laying down additional synths and piano parts on the compositions, adding new layers and depth to the album. The record has been mastered by danish Emil Thomsen (Efterklang, Slaraffenland). The The artwork will consist of handcrafted illustrations by Danish artist Dorthe Naomi, which will be cut in linoleum and then silk-screen printed for the vinyl version of the album. Oud virtuoso and composer Salman Shukur was the Head of the Music Department and Professor of Oud (the Arab lute) at the Baghdad Institute of Fine Arts for over 30 years. However, despite his long and illustrious career, Shukur made only one LP, recorded in London in 1976 at Rosslyn Hill Chapel. Shukurs compositions, while based on the Arab classical musical tradition, attempt to bridge the gap between eastern and western music, and may be described as tone-poems, embodying both free and formal variation and improvisation. Despite his being almost unknown in the western world, Shukur was to the oud as Paganini was to the violin!

As a special down-low bonus, the cover art is Joes homosexual cartoon animal salute to the original Beggars Banquet LP sleeve. Why release this record now? Cuz everything else in your store is such unlistenable, boring trash! Pants Down Time is a forgotten, raw slab of vinyl whose time has [perhaps] finally arrived!
