Live recording of the Rockopera "1000Wishes" by progressive rockband PBII, Hofstad Youth Orchestra and soprano Nathalie Mees as performed on 31st March 2013 in the citytheatre in Rijswijk (NL). This DVD contains the fullblown performance including the play by actors Frits Lambregts, David van Alten and Pieter van Dijk, the dance performance by DansPlan Segbroek College and the animation videos by Mannes van der Brug and Maartje Mast. 1000Wishes is a compelling story about the boy Eric fighting cancer. Watch him fight the disease together with his friend Sander and his grandfather. The performance of the play is in Dutch without subtitles. The DVD is available in PAL only. All net proceeds from this DVD go to the Dutch Children Cancer Fund (KiKa). More info on www.1000wishes.org

The holy grail of the '70s Punk/Synth-Punk Australian scene is now reissued in its original form for the first time on vinyl! Desire is proud to rerelease the very first Primitive Calculators' album. Originally out in 1982 in a very limited vinyl edition including a postcard, the eponymous album was recorded live in 1979 at Hearts, North Carlton, supporting the Boys Next Door. Often described as the Australian Screamers, Primitive Calculators was one of the few Aussie bands to mix minimal synth bass, scratchy guitars, repetitive drum machine beats that reminds their Californian cousins but also Cabaret Voltaire. This impossibly hard to find item is now available on vinyl for the first time since 1982 and this first pressing includes an exact replica of the sleeve, black vinyl with black labels and postcard.
