Written and rehearsed for three years, recorded live in the end of 2005. Vocals recorded fragmentarily during the following years due to constant storms of adversity. Finally completed in the spring of 2009, our over 100 minutes long double album THE DEAD END has really taken its toll on us. This will be a posthumous release for our singer Johan Carlzon who passed away last december. We're confident that the lyrics, vocal delivery and artwork on this album will stand as a proud monument of his unique talent and person. From working with very barren sonic landscapes on our last album In Reality We suffer (recorded in 2002), we really tried to push things forward this time with new member Mehdi Vafaei's pump organ adding a thick and mournful voice to the mix and letting us write with greater freedom. We gave it all on this one. Johan will be remembered! Abandon is seen as one of the leading bands in this sludge, doom genre, their previous album "In reality we suffer" got licensed to Codebreaker in Europe and to Earache in northern America. 2 x CD delivered in an extra ordinary packaging, very solid ekopack including amazing artwork by Johan Carlzon. 800 kilometers apart. The two members of Jeudah, vocalist Jan Jamte (also in Khoma) and instrumentalist Kristian Karlsson (also in pg.lost, ex-Eskju divine), hasn't had that many chances to meet in person. Instead the sound of Jeudah has been forged through a long-distance relationship built around countless of hours of talking and experimenting alone in front of microphones and amplifiers. The result is a sound that encompasses vulnerability, heaviness and epic soundscapes - all in a straightforward, melodic manner. With the exception of Thomas Hedlund (also in Khoma, Cult of Luna, Perishers, Deportees etc. ) recording the drums the idea was to do as much as possible themselves, keeping interference to a minimum. Both Khoma and P.G Lost are guitar-driven bands, and in Jeudah they wanted to try and experiment with other instruments to create new sounds and landscapes, without loosing the nerve or thunderous dynamics that guitars can bring.

BLACK STAR FOUN
consists of over 50 minutes of instrumental music and shows a darker and heavier side of pg.lost. "In Never Out" was recorded occasionally during the summer of 2009 in a old house outside Norrkoping, Sweden. It got mixed and Mastered by Magnus Lindberg at Tonteknik studios in Umea, Sweden in the beginning of the autumn. Magnus Lindberg, famous for his work behind bands like Cult of Luna, Khoma, The Perishers etc really added the perfect sound to catch what Pg.lost is all about. An orchestra of the heart, a playground for the long lost sporadic thoughts of giving in or getting back. Pg.Lost is a swedish band of many directions, but most of all a band throbbing with great melancholy grinding against the precious high hopes of not just individual human thinking and feeling, but also contrasts within pushing the sonic boundries of endless instrumental experiments of prolonging.
