They just finished a gig in the hippest jazz club in town. The goodbye party for those who were to board the 'Lusit'nia' was finally over. A will to drift with the wind had taken over those two lost souls and so they were dragged to that hole of sailors, pimps and the like. The bars and suspicios clubs in that street that carried a bad name stinked of wisky and bourbon. The prostitutes wandered and spiced the few that still hanged out there in such late hour. They came in to the first door that hadnt fresh blood and restarted to drink. In a short while the bar stool started to look like those waaves that came to the shore outside, the sailors ressemblestrange sea monsters and the prostitutes dry mermaids. Out of nowhere a hand with anchor tattoos landed on their faces. That was the last thing they remembered as they washed their bloody faces in the Tagus.' Dead Combo.

The album comes with a fantastic 20-page booklet featuring the illustrations of Joao Diogo (Bizarra Locomotiva, Switchtense and Echidna) that provide the visual art to the theme explored in the lyrics. Recorded and mastered at Soundvision Studios by Paulo Lopes and featuring a special guest performance by Esben Hansen of HateSphere on the track "Abusive Resolution", "Critical Obsession" displays a blasting fusion of blood-curling hardcore fury with the pummelling force of thrash and the rampaging intensity of death metal. Its a powerful concoction of styles that is bound to create some havoc in the pit.

Plays Ghost its about absence. Its about the livin and the dead! It was passed to tape with all our soul in the first half of November of the year of two thousand and seven. The production was in charge of Paulo Miranda and the place was Amp studios in Viana do Castelo, Portugal! Pedro Oliveira ( drums ), ¦ngelo Sousa ( bass ), Bruno Costa ( guitar ) and Jo¦o Pimenta ( voice ) had by guests, Filipe Miranda, Francisco Silva, Lus Fernandes and Duarte Monteiro! Until the record of "Ghost", Green Machine gave almost 70 concerts in Portugal and Spain, which were to promote "Themes for the hidebounds" ( 2006; author edition) and the split in "7" inch vinyl with Autoramas ( 2007; Groovie Records ). In the middle they were part of the compilations: "Acorda" ( Antena 3 / Cobra ), "Novo Rock Português" ( Chiado Records), "Um ano de bailarico" ( Lovers and Lollypops), "Input/ Output" ( Honeysound) e "Compilaccion Aambulancia" ( Aambulanciaa records-Madrid). They shared the stage with combos like the Black Lips ( Usa), Lords of Altamont( usa ), Vicious 5, Mojomatics ( Ita ),Xutos e Pontaps, Grabba Grabba Tape ( esp ), Born a Lion, Juanita y Los Feos ( esp ), X Wife or Veracruz( esp). Known by the press, friends and some stranges, as pure dynamite on stage! Green Machine its about lefting the soul in places and come to collect it in the end!
