With great pleasure we reopen the casket of unreleased stuff in order to resurrect a beautiful score composed by prolific Roman composer Stelvio Cipriani. LA MOGLIE GIOVANE is a movie shot in 1974 by Giovanni DEramo that starred the gorgeous Marisa Mell together with Fraley Granger, Francisco Rabal, Helga Lin and Riccardo Salvino. A thriller with homicide and blackmail, the story revolves around the calm character played by Marisa Mell that will prove to be far from passive, with some unhealthy traits and dominated by the unavoidability of tragic doom that soars upon the various characters and that, like an unmerciful tax collector, sooner or later will exact his toll.The score by the Maestro is based upon a main theme (dedicated to the beautiful Marisa Mell) that is featured throughout the first part of the score. From a musical point of view, it gives the score a strong lounge flavor. In the second part, when the story takes on the semblance of a giallo and thriller, the score gains more tension and rhythm, effectively growing in dynamicity. A film to be rediscovered and a beautiful score that provides excellent support to the images, its a fantastic listening experience even apart from the film. 50:18 of great Cipriani!The CD is limited to 500 copies and comes in a jewel case with a 12-page booklet.
