CONCRETE JUNGLE
The Adolescents are one of Americas most popular punk bands. They were formed by original Agent Orange bassist Steve Sotoand singer Tony Cadena /Reflex in 1979 in Fullerton, California. Along the way they recruited the Agnew brothers from Social Distortion and in 1981 released their self titled debut album "Adolescents" which would become one of the most influential Southern California punk rock albums of all time. Along with Bad Brains, Black Flag & Minor Threat they were one of the leading bands of the 1980s hardcore / skate punk scene.The first line up disbanded in late 81 but the band returned in 1986 with a new drummer and a new record "Brats in Batallions".Reflex left in 1988 and the band released one more record "Balboa Funzone" before disbanding in 1989. The band once againreunited in 2001 for a 20th anniversary tour and have continued performing ever since. With a few line up changes Soto andReflex have taken the Adolescents across the US, Europe, Japan and South America and they released OC Confidential, their first studio album in 17 years in 2005. Over the years the band has influenced many of todays later punk groups, including Bad Religion, NOFX, Face to Face, Good Riddance, The Offspring, Pennywise and Rise Against and hardrockers Slayer and Fu Manchu. "The Fastest Kid Alive" features 15 brand new songs and connecting past and present perfectly.

Among scene-relevant issues like "Gray Zone", Nazi murders or Anti-Antifa they also address other topics like gentrification, corporate social responsibility or self-exploitation, just to name a few. This live DVD called "REJECTED FOREVER FOREVER REJECTED" was not just recorded at one of REJECTED YOUTH's numerous shows, but it is a documetary on the "TEN YEARS REJECTED YOUTH" festival. Over 700 people came to the K4 hall in Nuremberg on October 3rd to celebrate the 10th anniversary together withthe Rejects. The special thing about this show, is the fact, that absolutely all of the guest singers who had been a part of already released albums, performed their album-part live on stage. This had never been done before and made it possible for the band to - for the first time - present the songs live in the way they had been recorded. Additionally to the 19 tracks on the 60 min DVD there is a recording of the RADIO-Z interview, a gallery including over 340 - mostly exclusive - pictures and a bonus-hidden track that can only be watched by getting the code at the REJECTED YOUTH Myspace website (myspace.com/fortherejectedyouth).
