San Francisco based experimental black metal, noise satanism band with previous releases on Wands, Handmade Birds (Thrill Jockey), Fragment Factory, & Holy Terror. Although only active since 2010, Sutekh Hexen has managed to produce a sizable back catalog of releases that exist in a nebulous gray area between black metal, noise, and dark ambient. Their newest release "Behind The Throne," is their most skillfull yet, with their unholy sonic maelstrom accented by subtle textural elements and understated melodic components. The vinyl format features deluxe packaging, colored vinyl, and MP3 download codes.

Originally released in 2011, Sutekh Hexen has black blood running through the viens of the fallen that are brought forth through the conjuring of spirits and demons alike in the satanically obsessed rituals of Sutekh Hexen. "Luciform" marks the band's first full length offering to the dark masses. Laced with hatred and misery, the six songs on this LP continue to push the boundaries of black metal and experimental sound without compromise. Blood-curdling waves of scathing white noise and dark ambience are gracefully fused together with razor sharp guitars, demonically possessed vocals and trance inducing melodies. The ritual that is Luciform focuses more on incantations and magick, and also plays as a soundtrack to our worst nightmares. 3rd pressing on clear or translucent blue vinyl.
