The Black Jaspers are King Khan (of The King Khan &BBQ Show, Shrines, etc.) and Jasper Hood (of Moorat Fingers) getting together for an exercise in the lowest-common- denominator, lowest-fidelity punk stupidity imaginable.The duo has been playing on and off since 2000 butare only just now getting around to releasing some of theirrecordings. This debut album was recorded in 2001 and has sat in King Khans vaults, aging like a fine wine ever since. Notuntil now has the King decided to unleash this record onthe public. The Black Jaspers is twelve tracks of retardationinspired by the Angry Samoans, Electric Eels, Mentally Ill,and any of the dumbest Killed By Death tracks one caresto name. Its the perfect record for when you just feel likebreaking shit.
